The rolling razor offers a blade cartridge that was specifically created to eliminate ingrown hairs all together. Rolling razor actually offers four different shaving cartridges to better customize your razor and shaving experiences.

Ingrown hairs usually occur when a hair has been cut to short and retracts back into the hair follicle; this causes the hair to curl back into the skin while growing rather than passing through the skins surface. Most standard multiple blade stick razors feature one blade on top of another, this set up causes a pull then cut action. By having a pull then cut action the hair retracts back beyond the surface of the skin causing ingrown hairs. The rolling razor on the other hand will not cause ingrown hairs; this is due to the convex set up of the pivoting blade cartridges. The blades on the rolling razor have a space between them, allowing the hair to be cut without being pulled first. The curved blades on the rolling razor also benefit you by keeping only one blade in contact with your skin at a time eliminating not only ingrown hairs, but also other skin irritations associated with shaving.

Rolling razor took into consideration the bigger issue with ingrown hairs that curly haired people have, this set the inspiration for the bump and ingrown hair eliminating blades. Rolling razor wanted to cover everyone’s needs and concerns and the first step was to that process is to see that people are individuals and have different specific shaving needs. So if you want a shaver that took your needs into mind while it was being invented, the rolling razor is for you.
